NEWS 10th World Congress for Microcirculation, 2014 Beijing Short report by Axel Pries and Gerry Meininger The venue at the Olympic Park is extremely well suited for the purpose. Lecture halls, exhibition space and poster area are close together and there is a lot of flexibility with respect to changing requirements for space and parallel lecture rooms. Also,
the venue is located in an area with ample hotel capacity at different
price levels at walking distance. Via the new subway it will be linked
to the historical city center (forbidden city) by a less than 10 min
ride.
This
event should be a new starting point of international microcirculation
research and medicine. Microcirculation is an integrative discipline
which aims at solving scientific problems to cater for real medical
needs. Beijing 2014 offers a chance to rejuvenate and refocus
our approach in bringing together the latest cellular and molecular
approaches with clinical and medical viewpoints.
The
microcirculatory community worldwide should know that it will be
extremely rewarding, safe and affordable to attend the WCMic 2014 in
Beijing - a must for everyone, including the family!
